Yard-O-Led Pencils

Yard-O-Led are so called because they held a yard of lead as either 13 pieces 2¾" long or 12 pieces 3" long. Models with a clip held by a screw on top normally use the 2¾" leads as all 12 channels are available and are generally earlier models. The 3" leads are normally used in models with a riveted side mounted clip, as the rivets prevented that channel from being able to hold a lead. These are generally later models.
